The label itself may have the header of the herbarium that distributed the specimen (Ex Herbarium), or a note informing who owned the specimen (different from the collector). Sometimes this information is preceded by Comm. (Communicavit), that is, it indicates who shared the copy.

When there are several institutions or people who successively owned the specimen, we only record the first one (the data schema in the central system only allows us to record one)

This number is a serial number different from the collector number. This is usually a catalog number or a number assigned for distribution

This is not a very frequent field. It can be the date when the specimen was incorporated in a former collection or the distribution date. It is not the date when the specimen was collected.
