Add all the information regarding scientific determinations (without including authors). If there is more than one determination click in "Add a new line".

The most recent one should be the first of the list.

"Confirmed identification" on the label corresponds to the same previously assigned.

Tip: When adding a species, the names that already exist in the databased will appear as a suggestion. However, it may not happen to all. If you need help with some scientific names you can consult specialized databases such as The Plant List.

The determiner should be added within the format Last Name, First Name.

The determiner may or may not be specified on the label.

If so, start by entering the last name and search within the suggested options.

If it is not explicitly speciefied, the most correctis to add "s.det.".

Tip: Usually, the determiner appears after the terms "Det./Rev." and/or "Conf."

If the determination date has no day or month add only the year and month, or only the year, respectively.

Tip: Usually, the determination date appears after the determiner.

If the specimen has the status of Typus, select the category from the list.
