The collector was assignes as Martin, C., but I believe it was a mistake. The name on the label is Gouget, wich, being a type, is in line with the name of the taxon: Hieracium gougetianum

The text is signed 01/1851 by A. Jordan who was Claudius Martin's "boss". But clearly the collector is Gouget. In "les Albères" Pyrénées Orientales at the french spanish border. He was a doctor in the french army and stayed in Algeria for a while with a botanist activity as well. So when we find D. Gouget it is more likely to be Doctor Gouget.
